Ingredients

300g fresh udon noodles

3 tablespoons chili oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

2 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Optional: chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Cook Udon Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, add the udon noodles. Cook according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes for fresh noodles), until tender but firm. Drain the noodles and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chili oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sugar. Stir well to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.

Toss the Noodles: Add the drained udon noodles to the bowl with the sauce. Toss gently to coat the noodles evenly with the flavorful mixture.

Garnish: Sprinkle the sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds over the noodles. Toss again if needed. Serve immediately while warm.

Optional: Garnish with chopped cilantro for an extra burst of freshness.
