Ingredients

1 can of crescent roll dough

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries, pitted and chopped)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the cherry pie filling, being careful not to break the cherries.

    Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) for about 5 minutes.

      Roll Out the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. You should have 8 triangles.

        Fill the Croissants: Take a spoonful of the cream cheese and cherry filling mixture and place it on the wide end of each triangle of dough. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point to form a crescent shape, making sure the filling is tucked inside.

          Brush with Egg Wash: Place the rolled croissants on a plate or cutting board. Brush the tops of each croissant with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish when cooked.

            Air Fry: Arrange the croissants in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each one to allow for expansion. Cook at 330°F (165°C) for 6-8 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed up.

              Cool & Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the croissants from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
