Ingredients

  • 1 pound Andouille sausage cut into ½-inch thick rounds
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • ½ cup dried cranberries finely chopped
  • ¼ cup cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 package puff pastry contains 2 sheets, thawed
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the cheddar cheese, cranberries, cream cheese, mustard, honey, garlic powder, and onion powder until creamy.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into 3x3 inch squares.
  • Place a slice of Andouille sausage in the center of each square and add a spoonful of the cranberry cheddar mixture on top.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
