Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 lemon, juiced

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice. Mix well to create a marinade.

Marinate the Pork Chops: Place the pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for deeper flavor.

Bake the Pork Chops: Remove the chops from the marinade and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the excess marinade. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). You can brush them with the reserved marinade halfway through baking for extra flavor.

Rest and Serve: Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This helps retain the juices. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with your favorite sides.
