Ingredients

8 large eggs

1/4 cup milk (or cream for a richer taste)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

1/4 cup finely chopped chives (or green onions)

1/2 red bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup diced cooked ham (optional)

Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or a similar size baking pan with cooking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Add in the salt and black pepper, continuing to whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.

Gently fold in the shredded cheese, chopped chives, diced bell pepper, and cooked ham (if using) until evenly distributed in the egg mixture.

Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden. You can check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center; it should come out clean.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares.

Serve warm, garnished with extra chives or herbs if desired. Enjoy your fluffy baked scrambled eggs!
