  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with unsalted butter.
  • Whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  • Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish.
