Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat, to your preference)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style recommended)

1 egg, beaten

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.

    Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then roll it in the breadcrumbs until fully coated. This will create a crispy crust.

      Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and sear each side for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the heat.
