Ramen, a beloved noodle dish, has its roots deeply embedded in Japanese culture. Though its exact origins are debated, it is widely believed that ramen was inspired by Chinese noodle dishes introduced to Japan in the late 19th century. Ingredients

200g ramen noodles

300g chicken breast, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, julienned

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

1 carrot, julienned

3 green onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

4 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon chili sauce (optional)

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Ramen: Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking, then set aside.

Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until it's cooked through and no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Stir-Fry Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the bell pepper, snap peas, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked ramen noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chili sauce if using. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

Serve: Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your delicious Chicken Ramen Stir Fry!
