Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 banana, sliced and frozen

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust according to sweetness preference)

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added nutrition)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: If you haven’t already, slice and freeze the banana. Measure out your blueberries and other ingredients.

Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the blueberries, frozen banana, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond milk, chia seeds (if using), and vanilla extract.

Adjust Consistency: Blend on high until smooth. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add a few ice cubes and blend again until creamy.

Taste Test: Give the smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.

Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish with a handful of fresh blueberries or a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top.

Enjoy: Sip and relish the delicious blend of chocolate and blueberry flavors!
