Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup green onions, chopped

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

20 wonton wrappers

Oil for frying

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and add about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken filling in the center.

Fold the wonton in half diagonally to form a triangle, and press the edges firmly to seal. You can use a little water on your fingers to help seal the edges.

Repeat this process until all the filling is used up.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat for frying.

Carefully add the wonton tacos to the hot oil, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the cooked tacos from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Serve the wonton tacos hot with additional sweet chili sauce for dipping and garnish with extra chopped green onions, if desired.
