  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce optional, for extra heat
  • Fresh chives finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss chicken pieces in the seasoned flour mixture until coated, shaking off excess flour.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the coated chicken in a single layer.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and add minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  • Stir in parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce, mixing well.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and toss in the cowboy butter mixture until evenly coated.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through and absorb flavors.
