Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup crab meat, cooked and shredded

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp soy sauce

½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper

4 slices of sourdough bread

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp butter, softened

Sweet and sour sauce (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well blended and creamy.

    Preheat your broiler on high.

Spread a layer of the crab mixture generously onto each slice of sourdough bread.

Top each slice with a generous handful of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place the prepared bread slices on a baking sheet. Broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Spread softened butter on the edges of the bread for an extra crispy crust.

Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Crab Rangoon Melt!
