Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it into small pieces.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Pour in the beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese until melted and creamy, then fold in the sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then add the reserved penne pasta and stir to coat.
