  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for rolling
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon for rolling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and 1 ½ cups of sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon for rolling.
  • Scoop dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
