  • ½ cup brown sugar packed

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar for icing
  • 2 tablespoons milk for icing
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for icing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
