Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, etc.)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or extra butter (for greasing the muffin tin)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard muffin tin with cooking spray or melted butter.

      Prepare the Dough:

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Press the seams together to create a single sheet of dough. You should have about 4 rectangles of dough.

          Season the Cheese:

In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the cheeses are fully coated with the seasonings.

              Assemble the Cruffins:

Take one rectangle of the dough and spread a thin layer of melted butter over it. Place a generous amount of the cheese mixture at the wider end of the triangle. Roll the dough up tightly from the wide end to the tip, forming a mini croissant shape. Repeat this process for the remaining rectangles.

                  Place in Muffin Tin:

Once all the cruffins are rolled, place them upright in the greased muffin tin. They should fit snugly in the cups.

                      Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

                          Cool and Serve:

Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the cruffins cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them. Serve warm, and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
