1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Savory Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cups baby spinach (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Extra grated Parmesan for serving

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

    - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Chicken:

        - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter for the chicken. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

          - Add the chicken pieces to the skillet. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Set aside.

            Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:

              - In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

                - Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.

                  - If using, stir in the baby spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

                    Combine:

                      - Add the drained pasta to the creamy Parmesan sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Gently fold in the garlic butter chicken bites.

                        Serve:

                          - Divide the creamy pasta and chicken bites among plates. Sprinkle extra grated Parmesan on top and garnish with parsley if desired. Enjoy!
