Ingredients

12 Hawaiian rolls (slider size)

12 slices of deli ham (your choice)

12 slices of Swiss cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Rolls: In a large baking dish, lay out the Hawaiian rolls in one piece. Carefully slice the entire batch of rolls in half horizontally, keeping the bottom and top attached.

Layer the Ingredients: On the bottom half of the rolls, layer the slices of ham evenly. Then add a layer of Swiss cheese on top of the ham. Place the top half of the rolls back on.

Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Add the Butter Mixture: Pour or brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls, ensuring all areas are well-coated. If you want to add a touch of elegance, sprinkle poppy seeds over the top.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley for color. Serve warm, and enjoy your delicious sliders!
