  • 3 overripe bananas mashed
  • cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a pinch sea salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  • Mash the overripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Mix in the melted butter with the mashed bananas until combined.
  • Add baking soda and sea salt, stirring gently.
