  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs, then mix with dry ingredients.
  • Gradually add remaining flour until a shaggy dough forms, then knead for 5-7 minutes.
  • Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl for the filling.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and roll tightly into a log.
  • Cut the log into 12 pieces and place in a greased baking dish to rise for 30-45 minutes.
