Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 4 tea bags black or green tea
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnishing
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium-sized saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add dried culinary lavender, cover, and steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the lavender-infused water into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
  • While warm, add tea bags and honey to the pitcher, stirring until honey dissolves.
  • Steep for an additional 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
  • Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour chilled tea over the ice.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
