Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes

3 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of hot honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, gently tossing to coat. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare an air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease an air fryer basket.

Bake the Salmon Bites: If using the oven, arrange the marinated salmon cubes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. If using an air fryer, place the salmon cubes in the basket in a single layer and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes.

Glaze with Hot Honey: In the last 2 minutes of baking (or when air frying), drizzle the remaining tablespoon of hot honey over the salmon bites and allow it to caramelize slightly.

Serve: Remove from the oven or air fryer and drizzle with fresh lime juice. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
