Ingredients

2 cups shredded leftover turkey

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

12 slider buns

4 slices Swiss cheese, cut into quarters

Optional toppings: sliced pickles, arugula or spinach, and avocado slices

Instructions

Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded leftover turkey, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms attached. Place the bottoms in a baking dish.

Layer the Ingredients: Spread a generous layer of the turkey mixture over the bottom buns, then add a layer of cranberry sauce on top of the turkey. Place Swiss cheese quarters over the cranberry sauce.

Add Optional Toppings: If desired, add sliced pickles, fresh arugula, or avocado on top of the cheese for added flavor and texture.

Top and Bake: Place the tops of the slider buns over the filled bottom buns. Brush the tops with a little extra mayonnaise or melted butter for a golden finish. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

Bake: Place the covered dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven, slice the sliders apart, and serve warm with extra cranberry sauce and pickles on the side if desired.
