Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice and zest of 1 large lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare Chicken: Season the chicken thighs generously with salt, pepper, and thyme on both sides.

    Heat Skillet: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté Green Beans: In the same skillet, add the green beans and a pinch of salt. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Remove the green beans and set aside with the chicken.

        Make Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

          Add Lemon: Stir in the lemon juice and zest, mixing well to incorporate the flavors. Scrape up any bits stuck to the bottom of the skillet.

            Combine Ingredients: Return the chicken and green beans to the skillet. Toss everything together gently in the lemon garlic butter sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until warmed through.

              Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
