Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat)

1 egg (for egg wash)

2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

1 tablespoon dried onion flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon dried garlic flakes (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

      Add Yogurt: Add the Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients. Using a spoon or your hands, mix until a dough starts to form. It will be slightly sticky but should come together.

        Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth.

          Shape the Bagels: Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 10-12 inches long. Form each rope into a circle, pinching the ends together firmly to create a bagel shape.

            Prepare the Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk the egg.

              Apply Egg Wash & Seasoning: Brush the tops of the bagels with the egg wash. Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning evenly over the top and sides. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, or dried garlic flakes.

                Bake: Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

                  Cool: Remove from the oven and let the bagels cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before slicing.

                    Serve: Enjoy plain or with your favorite spreads, cream cheese, or toppings.
