Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.

Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in chopped sundried tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, stirring gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately and prepare for the romance!
