Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cacao)

2 tablespoons unsweetened matcha powder

2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)

1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey, for a vegan option)

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, coconut flakes, or edible flowers

Instructions

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate chips with the coconut oil. Stir until completely smooth and well combined.

Add Matcha: Once the chocolate is melted, sift the matcha powder into the bowl to avoid lumps. Mix thoroughly until the matcha is well incorporated into the chocolate.

Sweeten: Stir in the maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.

Prepare the Molds: Line a small baking dish or silicone mold with parchment paper or spray lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Pour and Spread: Pour the matcha chocolate mixture into the prepared mold. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Add Toppings: If desired, sprinkle your choice of toppings on top of the chocolate. Gently press them into the surface.

Chill: Place the mold in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely firm.

Cut and Serve: Once set, remove from the mold and cut into squares or break into pieces. Enjoy your delicious matcha chocolate!
