Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into triangles as per the perforations.

In a bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.

Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the pointed tip, and shape into a crescent.

Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a bit apart.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
