Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup pepperoni slices

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

On the wide end of each triangle, place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.

Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the cheese and pepperoni.

Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle up towards the point, encasing the cheese and pepperoni inside.

Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush each croissant with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden finish. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for added flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
