Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 medium ripe banana, frozen

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2-3 oranges)

1/2 tablespoon orange zest

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)

1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (to taste, optional)

Ice cubes (for desired thickness)

Instructions

In a blender, combine the unsweetened almond milk, frozen banana, vanilla protein powder, fresh orange juice, and orange zest. If you want an extra creamy texture, add Greek yogurt at this step.

Blend on high until smooth and creamy, ensuring that the banana and all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Taste the mixture and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten. Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker shake and blend again until the ice is crushed and well blended.

Pour the shake into a tall glass and garnish with a slice of orange or a sprinkle of orange zest if desired. Enjoy immediately!
