  • 2 fillets fresh trout
  • 1 cup pecans finely chopped
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Press the egg-coated fillets into the pecan mixture to cover both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the crusted trout fillets in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Flip the fillets and transfer the skillet to the oven.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
