Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage (bulk or casings removed)

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking spray or additional flour for dusting

Optional: fresh chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.

    Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Break it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

      Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed and creamy.

        Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles along the perforations.

          Fill and Roll: Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough starting from the wide end to the point, tucking in the sides as you go to enclose the filling.

            Bake: Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
