Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, gochujang, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and grated ginger until well combined.
  • Place the chicken thighs into the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Grill or sauté the chicken for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the rested chicken into strips and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice and side dishes like kimchi or sautéed vegetables.
