Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
Add the wild boar meat and cook until browned on all sides.
Incorporate the carrots and mushrooms, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes to thicken.
Roll out the puff pastry and line a pie dish, leaving overhanging edges.
Spoon the wild boar filling into the pastry-lined dish and cover with another layer of pastry.
Seal the edges and cut slits in the top for steam to escape.
Brush the top with beaten egg and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
