Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
  • Add halved baby potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.
  • In a bowl, season steak cubes with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter, then add cooked potatoes.
  • Sauté potatoes for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return steak to skillet, toss everything together, and serve garnished with parsley.
