Ingredients

  • 200 g udon noodles
  • 250 g beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets blanched
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Cook the udon noodles in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Marinate the beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of black pepper for 10 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add bell pepper and broccoli, cooking for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • In the same skillet, add remaining oil and stir-fry the marinated beef for 3-4 minutes.
  • Combine the sautéed vegetables with the beef, then add the udon noodles, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper.
  • Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Serve in bowls, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For added flavor, consider serving with lime on the side.
