Ingredients

500g beef steak (sirloin or flank, thinly sliced)

2 cups mixed salad greens (romaine, spinach, and arugula)

1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)

1 cucumber (sliced finely)

1 red bell pepper (sliced thinly)

1 small red onion (thinly sliced)

1 carrot (julienned)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (chopped)

For the dressing:

3 tablespoons fish sauce

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

1 clove garlic (minced)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: Heat a grill or skillet over high heat. Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. Grill the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly against the grain.

    Make the Dressing: In a bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, soy sauce, chili flakes, and minced garlic until the sugar dissolves. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
