Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon olive oil (for cooking)

4 burger buns

Optional: sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and mayonnaise for serving

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken patties to the skillet.

Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

During the last minute of cooking, you can place a slice of white cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.

Toast the burger buns in the same skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers: place each cooked patty on a bun, and top with lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Add mayonnaise if desired, then cover with the top bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers!
