Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian style)

1 large garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 whole wheat burger buns

Lettuce leaves (for serving)

Tomato slices (for serving)

Avocado slices (optional for serving)

Your choice of sauce (e.g., ranch or garlic aioli)

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

    Form Patties: Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

      Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet.

        Cook the Patties: Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on one side, then flip them carefully. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes on the other side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and they are golden brown.
