Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup buttermilk (or milk with a splash of vinegar)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

Add the fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and all the herbs and spices (chives, parsley, dill, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne if using).

Using a whisk, mix everything together until fully incorporated and creamy.

Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more salt, pepper, or herbs to your liking.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Once chilled, give the dressing a good stir before serving. Enjoy it over salads, as a dip, or drizzled on your favorite veggies!
