Ingredients

8 oz. spaghetti or rice noodles

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

8 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce (or mushroom sauce for vegetarian)

1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 cup broccoli florets

1 bell pepper, sliced

2 green onions, chopped

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Cook Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the spaghetti or rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Incorporate Vegetables: Add the broccoli florets and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Mix in Sauces: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this sauce mixture into the skillet with the vegetables and stir well.

Toss Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are well-coated in the spicy sauce and heated through.

Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more red pepper flakes if you like it spicier.

Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions, fresh cilantro, and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
